Sweetspire - Itea

Sweetspire, or Itea is truly one of the most versatile native shrubs you can find. It is compact in size, can grow in sun or shade, likes moist, even wet areas, and once established will become drought tolerant. The lightly scented, bright white flowers explode like fireworks in early summer. Fall brings the most brilliant orange and red change to the foliage.
