Description

(Yarrow) Compact and heavy flowering are two of the best traits of New Vintage™ Violet Achillea. Standing 26-28 inches tall, New Vintage™ Violet has a nice upright mounding habit that is less likely to flop in the rain. New Vintage™ Violet produces large clusters of tiny violet rose colored flowers that hold their color for weeks, and as they age the color deepens. The deep green foliage is a great backdrop for the flowers that sit nicely above the mound in early summer. To encourage repeat blooming, we recommend that you trim your plant back after the blooms are spent. New Vintage™ Violet Yarrow is a drought tolerant plant that prefers to be grown in full sun. A beautiful choice for both cut and dried arrangements.

Might be one of my favorite plants of all time! The color is unbelievable and it lasts for months as it starts out incredibly bright, slowly fading away. I have it in full sun and dry-ish soil.
