Description

(Flossflower) Artist® Blue Ageratum is a strong performing Proven Winners® Ageratum that has a great growth habit and produces mounds of soft blue or deep violet-purple flowers. These vegetative Ageratums are more uniform and flower more consistently than seed-grown varieties. They are weather-resistant and thrive in bright full sun. Artist® Blue will work extremely well in containers, mixed baskets, and in the landscape. This Proven Winners® Ageratum does not need to be deadheaded. The new blooms will rise above the spent blooms keeping the plant looking its best at all times. Are deer eating your garden? Don't worry about this one, ageratum Artist® Blue is deer-resistant. Be sure to feed your annuals every one to two weeks with Proven Winners® water-soluble fertilizer.

Excellent for container plainting

Love this! Fluffy and full in my container garden with loads of small blue-purple fringey flowers. I water it regularly as the leaves develop burnt edges if it gets too dry, but it grows easily and well in full, hot sun.

Easy Care

My Grandson bought me a potted Ageratum and I keep it on my window sill. It needs little care, just keep moist and fertilize 3 to 4 times a year or less. I really like this plant, impressed how easy it is to care for
