Description

(Sage) Add a pop of red to your full sun garden with Arctic Blaze® 'Red' Salvia! Salvia in the Arctic Blaze® series are bred for improved hardiness and will provide color all season long with their ability to bloom repeatedly. This particular variety features deep red blooms that stand vertically above dark green foliage. Forming an upright habit, the plant is compact and perfect for fitting into small spaces in the garden or planted in mass. It can reach a maximum height of 24 inches and can spread up to 36 inches. Compact and sturdy, this salvia is also hardy in zones 6-11 and can handle temperatures down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. This shrub is also deer resistant, you won't have to worry about these pesky critters eating away at the blooms or foliage on the plant. Its bright blooms attract hummingbirds to the garden. Plant Arctic Blaze® 'Red' Salvia in areas that receive full sun exposure, and in well-drained soil. It will begin blooming in the early spring and repeatedly bloom all throughout the summer and into the fall. Plant with other complimentary annuals, perennials, or shrubs for a colorful look in the garden.

I love this red thriller in my new perennial garden. Now that the nights have warmed up and the days are hot and sunny she is finally starting to grow - I think this trio we picked will look very dramatic in my new garden. thank you
