Arctic Fox™ Lemon Cream Foxglove (Digitalis)
- Long Blooming Perennial,
- Unique New Color,
- Attracts Pollinators
Description
(Foxglove) Arctic Fox™ 'Lemon Cream' Digitalis is a plant that blew me away in our trial gardens! Every time I walked out to the gardens during the summer this plant was always in full bloom. This digitalis features pale yellow, almost cream, bell-shaped flowers that stand tall on deep green stems. Its blooms appear in the late spring and last throughout the summer. Hardy in zones 5a-9a, this variety of digitalis is particularly suited for northern gardens as it is more winter hardy. It thrives in areas of full sun, reaching a maximum height of 18-24 inches, and can spread up to 16-18 inches. Arctic Fox™ 'Lemon Cream' Digitalis is a great plant for pollinators, as it attracts pollinator bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies! Another great feature is that this plant is deer resistant, so the deer won't eat the beautiful blooms. It is recommended to deadhead the spent flowers to promote new growth and additional flowers. Water moderately and watch as it grows!
