Standing 16-18 inches tall and wide, the deeply dissected dark green foliage is a great filler for sun gardens and container gardens alike. Hardy in zones 4-9 Artemisia gmelinii SunFern™ Olympia is an easy to grow perennial that is drought tolerant once established. This deer-resistant, cold-hardy perennial is noninvasive and shouldn't spread. The semiever green foliage can be trimmed back in the spring, if needed the plants can be trimmed during the summer to maintain their shape.
