Description

Standing 2-3 feet tall, Asclepias 'Soulmate' forms an upright clump of showy, fragrant pink blooms. Part of the swamp milkweed family, 'Soulmate' features bright pink blooms with a vanilla-scented bloom. Planted in full sun locations with moderate to moist soil, Asclepias 'Soulmate' blooms mid-summer. Hardy in zones 3-9, asclepias is a deer-resistant perennial that attracts pollinators to the garden. Milkweed is very important in helping the lifecycle of the monarch butterfly, a key host plant. Plant with other of your favorite milkweed for an array of color and a flutter of butterflies.
