The deep indigo blue flowers bloom in late spring to early summer. The compact, well-branched dark green foliage looks fantastic all summer long, with the added interest of large seed pods well into fall. Decadence® 'Blueberry Sundae' is an easy to grow variety and requires little to no maintenance. The dramatic 24 inch long flower stems resemble huge lupine flowers and make great cut flowers. This a fabulous perennial! I purchased two Blueberry Sundae baptisias and they were huge by year two. They are gorgeous when in bloom but also very attractive after bloom.
