Absolutely stunning! I can’t believe the sheer volume of gorgeous blue blooms, and they just keep coming (I do dead-head)! Lovely plant anyway, with very interesting foliage. In the past I’ve seen maybe a couple butterflies each year, but now I’m seeing several daily – they are so drawn to those beautiful blue buds! I planted mine next to our small pond, and it has made such a statement! Thank you!

Spectacular! Big, fat, true blue blossoms!
I planted 3 varieties of Pugster in the spring.. The Blue Pugster was spectacular! It started blooming in July and is still blooming in early October in my garden (South Carolina mountains). The blossoms are big, fat and prolific. The color is a true, deep blue – at times almost cobalt. I planted it with a white achillea and the contrast was beautiful. The plants were vigorous growers. They received 6+ hours of sun, moderate water and no deadheading. No damage from critters, either. For a dwarf variety, the blossoms are very impressive. I intend to plant more of these!
