Striking large, fat blossoms! Did well in it's first year.

I planted multiple varieties of the Pugster buddleia. The Periwinkle variety did well in our hot and humid summers. Of particular note are the blossoms which are large and fat -significantly more than the Blue Chip species of buddleia. And to have such large blossoms on a dwarf shrub is really beautiful. They do not need to be deadheaded. The blossom color in my garden leaned pink/purple vs. blue/purple. After one season's growth, I had a nice dwarf plant, with gray-green leaves and lots of blooms. It is still blooming in early October. The blue variety was spectacular, followed by the periwinkle variety. The white variety was just OK in my garden.
