Description

(Tuberous Verbena) Looking to add a new filler to your annual containers or hanging baskets? Give Cake Pops™ Pink a try. Cake Pops™ Pink verbena features clusters of small soft pink flowers to make up a rounded bloom. The thick, coarse dark green foliage creates a mounding trailing habit, standing 12-18 inches tall and wide. Cake Pops™ Pink is very heat and humidity tolerant making this a great annual for the south as well as northern climates. Unlike some other verbenas, Verbena rigida does not cycle meaning you should have flowers all summer long. This native annual attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and pollinators. Plant in well-drained soil, and fertilize with a continuous release fertilizer when you plant it. Little to no deadheading is required. If you have deer who browse your garden, no worries, Cake Pops™ Pink verbena is a deer-resistant annual.

Grew very well in large combination planter. Stood up above the spillers, so you could see it.
