Fairly compact, standing 8-11 inches tall and creating a 14-inch mound Centaurea 'Silver Swirl' likes to be planted in well-drained soil in an area of full sun. Once it is established, it is a drought-tolerant perennial. Hardy in zone 6b-9, the wavy, silvery foliage is a great addition to combination planters as well as garden borders.
