Description

(Quince) Enjoy early spring color with the camellia like blooms of Double Take Peach™ Quince. The large, double bright peach blooms line the stems from tip to toe creating a mass of spring color. The Double Take Peach™ series of flowering Quince are known for their long bloom time but most importantly that they are thornless. Yes, unlike other Quince varieties Double Take Peach™ is a thornless Quince. Once the blooms start to fade the deep green leaves emerge creating a nice shrub that stands 4-5 foot tall and wide. Planted in full sun, Double Take Peach™ an excellent choice for mass plantings or hedges and is extremely drought tolerant and deer resistant. Create a beautiful spring bouquet with the cut flowers of Quince. Hardy in zones 5-9, Double Take Peach™ blooms off of the old growth and is best trimmed to shape after it is done flowering in the spring. A Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.

Purchased in 2017, planted in a circle and added various bulbs around. The plant flowers profusely and even still had flowers when our first snowstorm hit.
