Description
(Quince) Double Take® Scarlet™ Chaenomeles produces a flurry of early spring, dark red double flowers. The blooms of Double Take® Scarlet™ look like that of a camellia. Heat and drought tolerant once established, Double Take® Scarlet™ is also thornless, does not produce fruit like a traditional Quince, and is deer resistant. The Double Take® Scarlet™ Quinces are excellent for making a hedge, mass plantings, and also make great specimens for the cut flower garden or mixed border.
