Description

(False Cypress) Add the golden glow of Chamaecyparis Soft Serve® Gold to your garden or landscape. This fast growing False Cypress stands 6-10 feet tall and 5-6 feet wide at maturity creating a pyramidal form. Compact in size, the golden yellow and chartreuse green foliage is soft to the touch and easy to handle. This compact evergreen is hardy in zones 4-8 and is burn resistant when planted in full sun to part shade locations. Soft Serve® Gold False Cypress has more intense coloration when planted in a full sun location and holds its color well. I was impressed with the condition upon receipt. I planted them immediately and have been babysitting them closely. They look good, and will be nice color addition when the get a taller in a layered bed.

I have it planted in the garden with other plants that are "wintering" in the garden until next spring. I will plant it then and it will be gorgeous with my other evergreens!
