Description

(Clematis) Enjoy the compact habit of Clematis Boulevard® Ines™. The perfect size for containers and small garden spaces, Clematis Boulevard® Ines™ stands 4 feet tall and can spread up to 2 feet wide. The deep lavender blue 4 inch blooms feature wavy edges and a deep magenta red bar on each petal. The deep red/gray anthers are a beautiful contrast to the deep purple petals. This repeat bloomer grows off the new growth, blooming in early to late summer and again in the fall. With its compact height, Clematis Boulevard® Ines™ is a great selection for patio planters as well as small garden spaces. Clematis like to be grown in full sun to part sun locations while keeping their roots cooled by mulch or another plant. Clematis make for nice cut flowers to bring indoors. Hardy in zones 4-9, Clematis Boulevard® Ines™ is part of prune group 3, meaning you can trim it back to the ground in the fall with flowers coming from the new growth. Add vertical interest to your garden with Clematis.

Planted it and within 3 weeks it has 2 blooms that are gorgeous. Starts unfairly dark purple by once it opens the purple lightens as advertised.

This is a beautiful clematis, heavy bloomer, and takes a little bit of shade in the late afternoon without changing the flower color! Just lovely! Business as usual with Garden Crossings!

I have this one planted on a small trellis and it always blooms non-stop with big beautiful purple flowers. I'm love it so much I'm ordering the Sarah Elizabeth to try out this year!
