(Clematis) Soft pink petals with a beautiful ombré effect make Clematis Boulevard® Poseidon™ a standout in smaller garden spaces. Each 4–5 inch flower features a rosy-pink center that gradually fades to lighter pink toward the edges. The delicate color transitions give these large blossoms an almost hand-painted appearance.

Don't let its compact size fool you! Poseidon™ reaches just 3–4 feet tall but produces an impressive display of flowers throughout summer. Because it blooms on both old and new growth, you can enjoy multiple rounds of color rather than one short flowering period.

Clematis Boulevard® Poseidon™ is perfectly sized for patio containers, decorative obelisks, and smaller trellises. Its climbing stems bring vertical interest without overwhelming nearby plants. Position it where you can appreciate the intricate petal coloring up close.

Hardy in zones 4–9, this Clematis grows in full sun to part shade. Keep its roots cool with a light layer of mulch or neighboring plants that shade the base. Poseidon™ can follow pruning group 2 or 3. Light pruning preserves older stems, while a harder cutback to approximately 12 inches in early spring encourages fresh growth.
