Boulevard® Rebecca™ Clematis
- Bright Red Flowers,
- Blooms All Summer,
- Excellent Ground Cover
Description
(Clematis) Rebecca™ Clematis has a dramatic, intense color that will showcase a spectacular display in your garden. This clematis is an Evison/Poulsen cultivar with large, scarlet-red flowers and creamy yellow anthers. Rebecca™ will bloom from May through June and again in August and is a free-flowering clematis. It grows best in full sun to part shade. While its flowers thrive under full sun, its roots like to be kept cool and shaded, so try planting ground cover plants or other perennials near its roots to provide that cover. Hardy in zones 4-9, it can reach a height of 6-8 feet creating gorgeous vertical interest in your garden. Its beautiful and vibrant blooms attract pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. You shouldn’t have to worry about any deer getting into your clematis though, as this clematis is typically deer resistant. Rebecca™ Clematis is a part of prune Group 2. You will want to prune them ever so lightly in the early spring (February or March), as well as remove any dead or weak stems. Caring for your clematis in this way will help keep it healthy for its upcoming blooming season! Please note: flower color may vary due to the environment in which the plant is grown.

Reviews
Plant received was healthy. Planted a few days after I let it acclimate to our area. Within a week had 3 blooms on it and it is thriving, even in 100* weather. It is located in full sun until about 2 PM then shade. Will buy from again! Zone 5b
Received the plant in excellent condition, including one open bloom already on the plant! Will put in ground today.
