Colorblaze® Newly Noir™ Coleus

(Coleus) One of the hottest selling foliage plants we carry is the Colorblaze® Coleus family. Colorblaze® Newly Noir™ features deep purple, near-black foliage with a heavy texture and serrated edges. Growing 2- 3 ½ feet tall and spreading up to 3 feet wide, Colorblaze® Newly Noir™ coleus can be planted in full sun to shade locations. Growing tip… the more sun it gets the more stunning the coloration! If you are in an area with low humidity, we recommend part to full shade. This easy-to-grow annual is primarily used for foliage interest. The Colorblaze® family of Coleus has been bred to bloom late in the season and requires no pinching to achieve full plants. To keep the foliage as the main attraction, you may pinch off any flowers that may emerge. The upright habit of Colorblaze® Newly Noir™ Coleus makes this a perfect addition to the landscape as well as a filler/ thriller in containers. Be sure to use a large container, as these do get big. We recommend fertilizing with a water-soluble fertilizer every couple of weeks to keep them looking fabulous from spring until the first frost.
