In early summer through late summer crisp golden yellow flowers emerge with a bright burgundy eye. Hardy in zones 5-9, Coreopsis likes to be planted in full sun locations with good drainage. It tolerates average to poor soil conditions once it is established. This bee and butterfly-friendly perennial is a great flower for cutting or drying.
