Description

(Tickseed) In our trials the UPTICK™ series of Coreopsis continued to 'wow' all summer long! If an easy to care for, long blooming perennial is what you are looking for, look no further than UPTICK™ Gold&Bronze. A compact 12-14 inches tall and wide, UPTICK™ Gold&Bronze forms a tidy mounding habit. The large blooms are a rusty red color with golden yellow edges. Hardy in zones 4-9, coreopsis prefer to be grown in a full sun location with good drainage. Blooming from early summer until the fall, UPTICK™ Gold&Bronze is a non stop bloomer. You may want to give it a light trim occasionally to deadhead, but it is not needed. This deer resistant perennial is great for pathways, mass plantings or container gardens. Enjoy the buzz of bees and flutter of butterflies as they enjoy this garden favorite. Pair with UPTICK™ Yellow&Red for even more color.

Tough as nails

Mine is now 3.5 years old and has made it through scorching temperatures and drought, an ice storm, flooding, even underwater. For like 3 weeks, I might have been left with nothing but some brown, dead stalks, and it came back and flowered and flowered and flowered. I've seen it bloom 3 different times this past year. Once it kind of gets going, some terrible weather event will come in and scorch it, burn it, dry it up, freeze it out, whatever. 2.5, 3 weeks later, it's back with double the number of flowers.
