(Tickseed) In our trials the UPTICK™ series of Coreopsis continued to 'wow' all summer long! If an easy to care for, long blooming perennial is what you are looking for, look no further than UPTICK™ 'Yellow&Red'. A compact 12-14 inches tall and wide, UPTICK™ 'Yellow&Red' forms a tidy mounding habit. The large blooms are a deep burgundy red color with bright yellow edges. Hardy in zones 4-9, coreopsis prefer to be grown in a full sun location with good drainage. Blooming from early summer until the fall, UPTICK™ 'Yellow&Red' is a non stop bloomer. You may want to give it a light trim occasionally to deadhead, but it is not needed. This deer resistant perennial is great for pathways, mass plantings or container gardens. Enjoy the buzz of bees and flutter of butterflies as they enjoy this garden favorite. Pair with UPTICK™ 'Gold&Bronze' for even more color.
