(Dwarf Dogwood) ARCTIC SUN® Cornus is a very compact selection of the popular Winter Flame dogwood. It is roughly half the height with twice as many branches. This wonderful shrub will add sensational color in the fall with its golden yellow foliage and is extremely beautiful in the winter with its rich, yellow stems that darken to blood red at the tips. Growing to only 3-4 feet, ARCTIC SUN® is perfect for the smaller garden! A PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® Flowering Shrub.

I chose this for a new shrub garden that I was looking for year around interest. In it’s first year it did not disappoint with the unique variety of coloration of the stems over the winter and even providing color into the spring. Enjoying it with it’s neighboring Arctic Fire Red.
