Description

(Cyperus) Vertical interest that wows! Graceful Grasses® Prince Tut™ is a new kid in town, standing much shorter than its Father King Tut™. Standing 30-48 inches tall and spreading to 36 inches wide (these sizes are based on ground plantings in the south). For the northern gardener, you may see heights in a container of 30 inches tall and up to 2 feet wide. With its compact size and sturdy stems, Prince Tut™ is less likely to have floppy stems. When planting Prince Tut™ make sure that you give it enough space or a large enough container to grow. Prince Tut™ is a heat-tolerant plant but does prefer to be kept moist, it can grow in bogs or at the water's edge as well as in a border or mass planting. Planted in full to part sun, Prince Tut™ grass makes an excellent thriller for combination planters. Add a nice statement to your containers with Prince Tut™ Cyperus Grass.

Heidi Prince Tut™ really stood out in my trails this past summer. It was the perfect size for my combination planters and I planted it with Supertunias® and Intensia® Phlox. It stood very firm with no stem flopping, even after a hard rain or wind. Prince Tut™ is a fast grower and will easily fill out your container. I recommend planting in a pot that is at least 18-24 inches across.

Used this one in a container last year, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it did all summer long in full sun. Would certainly buy again!
