Description

(Hybrid Bee Delphinium) Delphinium is a unique way to add vertical color to the garden. New Zealand 'Mini Pinks' Delphinium features tall flower spikes of faded magenta pink (almost purple) blooms. These flowers attract many different pollinators such as bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. It truly is a great addition to your pollinator garden! Its blooms appear in the early summer and last well into early fall. Good news! New Zealand 'Mini Pinks' Delphinium is both deer and rabbit resistant. If you have these critters in your area, they should leave this plant alone! It can grow to reach a maximum height of 2.5-3 feet, and can spread up to 1.5-2 feet. Hardy in zones 3-7, this perennial is perfect for the cooler zones. Plant in areas that receive full sun to part shade, and water regularly. New Zealand 'Mini Pinks' is a taller variety, and may need to be staked if you deal with harsh winds or weather. They can be showcased in the garden as a focal point plant, or they can fit in as a taller border plant or mass planting. Plant with companion perennials like Agastache, Shasta Daisies, or Daylilies!
