Description
(Pinks) Fruit Punch® Dianthus 'Black Cherry Frost' is a striking addition to the Proven Winners® Perennial family. The remarkably large, fragrant 1 1/4 inch blooms are semi double and a striking reddish pink color. Each petal features a reddish pink washed look and is edged with a light pink border. This long season bloomer stands 7-10 inches tall and 12-14 inches wide. The bright reddish pink blooms set nicely above the blue green foliage. Fruit Punch® 'Black Cherry Frost' is an excellent choice for borders, pathways, and in rock gardens. Dianthus grows best in loose, well-drained soils, is drought tolerant and prefers full sun to part shade locations. Encourage reblooming by giving a light trim after the flowers are spent.
