(Pinks) FRUIT PUNCH® Dianthus ‘Maraschino’ is a fresh addition to the PROVEN WINNERS®® Perennial family. The remarkably large, fragrant 1 1/2 inch blooms are fully double and a bright red color with a deep burgundy eye. This long season bloomer stands 8 inches tall and 12-14 inches wide. The bright red bloom sets nicely above the spiky blue foliage. FRUIT PUNCH® ‘Maraschino’ is an excellent choice for borders, pathways, and in rock gardens. Dianthus grows best in loose, well-drained soils, is drought tolerant and prefers full sun to part shade locations. Encourage blooming all summer by giving a light trim after the flowers are spent. ‘Maraschino’ is deer resistant. FRUIT PUNCH® ‘Maraschino’ is part of the PROVEN WINNERS®® Perennial family.
