Description

(Bugleweed) Feathered Friends® 'Petite Parakeet' Ajuga is the industry's first gold colored small-leaved variety and has a striking orange flush and veining. The foliage of this evergreen ground cover provides excellent texture and glowing color to shady areas and sets off the cobalt blue blooms that appear in spring. 'Petite Parakeet' Ajuga grows 4-6" high and will spread 9-18" wide and is best grown in part to full shade in moist, well-drained soil. Use as a border or ground cover plant in the shade garden. 'Petite Parakeet' compliments other shade plants such as Brunnera, Heuchera, Hosta, and Pulmonaria.
