Description

(Bugleweed) Feathered Friends® 'Tropical Toucan' Ajuga is the industry's first gold colored large-leaved variety. The striking foliage of this evergreen ground cover provides excellent texture and glowing color to shady areas and sets off the cobalt blue blooms that appear in spring. The stems of 'Tropical Toucan are even ornamental as they are a beautiful red color. 'Tropical Toucan' Ajuga grows 4-6" high and will spread 9-18" wide and is best grown in part to full shade in moist, well-drained soil. Use as a border or ground cover plant in the shade garden. 'Tropical Toucan' compliments other shade plants such as Brunnera, Heuchera, Hosta, and Pulmonaria.
