Description

(Pinks) Fruit Punch® Dianthus 'Funky Fuchsia' adds a vibrant new color to the Dianthus in our Proven Winners® Perennial family. 'Funky Fuchsia' features fully double fuchsia purple blooms that are 1 ½ - 2 inches wide. The semi-evergreen, glaucous blue-green foliage forms a 10-inch tall mound that spreads 14 inches wide. Features of the Fruit Punch® series include semi to fully double flowers, fragrance, and good heat and humidity tolerance. Hardy in zones 4-9, Fruit Punch® Dianthus 'Funky Fuchsia' likes to be grown in full sun to part shade locations and has average to low water needs. Blooming early summer and with a light trim, reblooms again late summer. The fragrant flowers of Fruit Punch® 'Funky Fuchsia' attract butterflies and bees to the garden. This deer-resistant perennial is easy to grow and makes for a great border for the garden, plant in mass, or mixed in among other low-growing perennials for a beautiful splash of early summer color. Fruit Punch® Dianthus 'Funky Fuchsia' is a member of the Proven Winners® Perennial Collection.
