Thriving beautifully
I discovered this plant for the first time this year. planted about 6 of them, mixed in with purple angelinia and some bright yellow zinnias. This plant has now become a favorite - very elegant, very hardy, showy, in very sunny location. It surprised me by blooming in early summer and then re-blooming and dancing in the wind - with little maintenance, and next to a road. Not troubled by pollution. It is a joyous loving life plant. It hugs its purple, blue, white and yellow colleagues. Definitely will get more next season.
Beautiful, healthy plants. I put them into the ground immediately, fertilizes them and they are blooming their heads off. I'd gotten some spindly ones late summer last year from a big box store and they weren't very robust. I knew Garden Crossings has good plants and packs them so well, so I thought I wouldn't wait for this popular plant to show up late again. Am I ever glad. They just look fabulous with a border of Lobelia around the outer edge of the bed.
I love this plant. It is not hardy to our zone in Wisconsin, but I think of it as an annual and purchase each year if it doesn't survive the winter. Sometimes it does. It blooms the entire season and is very showy.
