This sunflower does have smaller flowers that bloom all summer in full sun. If you did not have it in a full sun area, that would make sense maybe why it did not flower as you had hoped.

I was a little disappointed in this plant. Flowers were smaller than I thought, and it didn't bloom as well for me. Maybe didn't get enough sun or didn't like my soil.
