The triangular-shaped petals are edged with a fine burgundy line. Standing 34 inches tall and spreading up to 24 inches wide, Rainbow Rhythm® 'Star of the North' blooms in early July here in Michigan. You will not only enjoy the blooms once but also a second time with this prolific rebloomer. Unlike most daylilies, 'Star of the North' has a slight fragrance. Planted in full sun to part sun locations is recommended for the most blooms. Daylilies can handle fertile to poor soil conditions once they are established. Plant in mass, as a border, or in containers for years of enjoyment. This rabbit-resistant perennial attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and pollinators to the garden.
