Description

(Rose Mallow) Crisp, solid white blooms on a hardy hibiscus that is compact in size, let us introduce Hibiscus 'Marshmallow Moon'. Unlike old varieties of hibiscus that were not tidy and only bloomed at the tips, 'Marshmallow Moon' is a great new introduction with a compact tidy habit standing 3 ½ feet tall and up to 4 feet wide. The bright green foliage forms a beautiful mound that is lined with flower buds. The more flower buds that line the plant result in more flowers that cover the plant. The crisp white flowers open to 6 ½ inches wide, creating quite a show of color. It likes to be planted in full sun to part sun location with moderate to moist soil conditions. Hardy in zones 4-9, the deer-resistant, native perennial is a perfect specimen plant as well as an excellent choice for creating borders. One of the last plants to emerge in the spring, Rose Mallow is quick to grow once it has sprouted. Enjoy the large tropical-looking blooms of Hibiscus 'Marshmallow Moon'.
