Description

(Rose of Sharon) One of the most striking Rose of Sharon I have seen is Paraplu Pink Ink™. The large tropical flowers, in comparison to typical hardy varieties, feature pure white blooms, we can’t get over the amazing magenta eye with eyelash-like color pattern. The stunning flowers last for 1 day, but not to worry, there are hundreds more waiting to bloom. Standing 5-8 tall and 4-5 feet wide, Paraplu Pink Ink™ forms an upright habit. The dark green foliage is a perfect match for the flowers that cover the plant from top to bottom. Paraplu Pink Ink™ is a fast-growing shrub that is hardy in zones 5-9. Planted in full sun locations, flowers start to open mid-summer and bloom into fall. Enjoy the butterflies as they flutter around your flowering shrub. Easy to grow, Paraplu Pink Ink™ requires little to no pruning. Blooming off of the new growth, if you feel trimming is needed, we recommend doing so in the spring. Rose of Sharon may leaf out later than other shrubs in your landscape, so please be patient. Create a collection by adding other of our great Rose of Sharon to your garden. Paraplu Pink Ink™ Rose of Sharon is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.

Planted this one last year, and Oh how beautiful are the blooms. Even though it was small at first it just couldn't stop blooming, looking forward to see what it does now that it is in it's new location!
