- Large Blooms
Description
(Rose of Sharon) A truly unique Rose of Sharon, Pollypetite® has a compact, mounding habit. Standing 3-4 feet tall and wide, Pollypetite® Rose of Sharon is a perfect size for borders, foundations or in the garden. Large, crisp, clean lavender purple flowers are edged with a lightly ruffled edge. A unique thing for this Rose of Sharon, there is no red/magenta eye. The leaves are darker green in color and resemble cut leaf maples. In mid summer the beautiful blooms appear putting on a show. Deer resistant and attracts butterflies, Pollypetite® was developed by Polly Hill at the Arboretum on Martha's Vineyard. Pollypetite® is a Proven Winners® ColorChoice® Flowering Shrub.
