Unlike some of the older rose mallow varieties, this one blooms from 'tip to toe' meaning top to bottom coverage of the bold blooms. Hardy hibiscus like to be planted in full to part sun locations and do well in fertile to dry soil, once established. 'Summer in Paradise' starts blooming mid summer and goes until fall.
