Description

Shadowland® 'Diamond Lake' features large, heart shaped leaves that get up to 9 inches wide by 11 inches long. The bright blue foliage is heavily corrugated and has scalloped pie crust edges. The thick substance of the foliage helps with increased slug resistance. Standing 17 inches tall and 45 inches wide, Shadowland® 'Diamond Lake' is a short wide hosta. In mid summer, flower scapes reaching 25-28 inches tall are proportionally situated above the foliage and are adorned with pale lavender flowers. Enjoy the hummingbirds as they come to your garden. This was a late season purchase, so I was not surprised to see several brown leaves. I trimmed them before planting. The hosta put out several new leaves and bloom stocks the first two weeks. Now I have blooms. I'm so happy with the quality of plants. I've purchased Proven Winner plants for a long time because I like the quality.
