Shadowland® 'Hope Springs Eternal' Hosta
- Stunning Foliage,
- White Summer Flowers,
- Heavily Ruffled Leaves
Description
(Hosta) Shadowland® Hosta 'Hope Springs Eternal' has such a pretty presence in the garden. The horizontal, heart-shaped leaves feature shades of silver-blue with a thin cream margin. The heavily ruffled leaves start at the base and are ruffled all the way to the tips. A 22 inch tall and up to 32-inch wide mound is created when Shadowland® 'Hope Springs Eternal' is at mature size. Hardy in zones 3-9, planted in full shade to part shade is where you will see the best coloration. Planted in fertile to moist soil locations, 'Hope Springs Eternal' is a rapidly growing hosta, and in mid-summer white bell-shaped flowers emerge. Hostas are often used as foundation plantings as well as creating borders in the garden. If you are a collector, we recommend planting several hostas in a location to show off the contrast of colors, heights, and styles they bring together. Hostas are a very easy to grow perennial and have attractive foliage that gardeners enjoy. Shadowland® Hosta 'Hope Springs Eternal' is a member of the Proven Winners® Perennial Collection.
