(Mountain Hydrangea) Enjoy the beauty of hydrangeas nearly all summer with TUFF STUFF AH-HA® hydrangea. This reblooming shrub starts starts early summer and with its strong reblooms, you should see flowers nearly all summer long. Standing 2-3 feet tall and wide, TUFF STUFF AH-HA® hydrangea forms a nicely mounded habit plant. Each lacecap flower reaches 6-8 inches across and is surrounded by large, double florets. With blooms ranging from pink to blue depending on your pH, the beauty will be evident all summer. TUFF STUFF AH-HA® tends to lean more towards the blue shades but can easily be changed. TUFF STUFF AH-HA® is a cross between TUFF STUFF™ and the LET’S DANCE® family creating great reblooming qualities. Hardy in zones 5-9, it prefers to be grown in full sun to part shade locations that receive an adequate amount of moisture. Blooming off new and old growth, we recommend trimming it in the early fall if needed. If you do find that it was trimmed in the spring, no worries, TUFF STUFF AH-HA® should rebloom after 6-8 weeks. In autumn, the thick leafy foliage takes on rich, bronze red tones for additional interest late in the season. Hydrangea TUFF STUFF AH-HA® is a PROVEN WINNERS® COLORCHOICE® Flowering Shrub.

Such a robust and nice sized plant that was shipped. We planted it expecting it to not bloom this year, like other snowball bushes we received as gifts from family. SURPRISE!! Within a few weeks, this bush is already full of blooms and opening to show it’s pretty pink flowers. This is the first time ordering from this company and we are so happy with the quality of plants sent.

I’ve had these planted in the Chicago parkway in front of my home since spring 2020. Their compact size is perfect for this skinny strip of land between the sidewalk and street. Like their name, they’ve been able to stand up to adverse conditions and not the best soil. They get a little morning sun and filtered light the rest of the day. They bloom profusely through the entire summer. Their leaves change to a beautiful bronze in the fall.

Very tough. Grew all season last year in my wheelbarrow before I planted it near the koi pond. Came up beautifully this spring (all 5plants). Nice addition to the pond garden in filtered sun. Bloomed all season long last year in a lovely shade of pale pink. I highly recommend this plant!
