Description

(Smooth Hydrangea) Invincibelle Sublime™ Hydrangea brings a fresh, rich lime green color to the garden. The florets have pink eyes and are arranged in dense mophead blooms on sturdy stems that will stay upright even after a soaking rain. The flowers are produced from tip to toe with contrasting dark green foliage. Invincibelle Sublime™ Hydrangea grows 3 ½-5 feet tall and wide and grows in zones 3-9 in full to part sun. We recommend a full sun location in northern areas and some afternoon shade in warmer climates. It blooms on new wood, so cut back by about 1/3 in early spring just as new buds start to show on the stems. It grows well in most soils, except poorly drained sites. Invincibelle Sublime™ is excellent as a specimen plant, in the mixed border, as a hedge, or in the cut garden as its blooms look beautiful in a vase.
