Its rich mahogany-red heart-shaped foliage exhibits a more mounded habit, trailing as it grows through the season. Growing 6-16 inches high and trailing 1-3 feet, Ipomoea SWEET CAROLINE SWEETHEART MAHOGANY™ will quickly make its presence known. Keeping in mind that most Ipomoeas are vigorous growers, be sure to pair SWEET CAROLINE SWEETHEART MAHOGANY™ with plants that can keep up, or plan on trimming and cutting it back as needed. Not only are Sweet Potato Vines great as foliage interest in containers, they make an excellent ground cover or border plant. SWEET CAROLINE SWEETHEART MAHOGANY™ is best grown in full to part sun locations with regular watering.
