In late summer, golden orange daisy-like flowers appear on tall purplish-black stems. ‘Britt-Marie Crawford’ is very unusual and will flourish in mass planting or as a specimen plant in a shady garden or near ponds and streams. This striking perennial stand 3′ to 4′ tall with its flower spike blooms. Ligularia ‘Britt-Marie Crawford’ is resistant to deer and will attract butterflies to your garden to drink the sweet nectar. Striking Plant
The deep purple foliage is really striking, as are the yellow daisy like flowers in late summer. Only drawback is that this is a thirsty plant, and requires hand watering in partially sunny areas. Still a unique and dynamic plant.
