(Cardinal Flower) Striking, upright splashes of color is what Vulcan Red Lobelia delivers. Standing 2-3 foot tall and 12 inches wide, Vulcan Red Lobelia creates a dense mound of deep burgundy foliage with spikes of red blooms. An improvement over Queen Victoria, this Lobelia is well branched creating a more uniform habit with increased amount of blooms from mid-summer into the fall. This native bloomer attracts hummingbirds and butterflies into you garden and landscape. Best grown in full sun to part shade location, Vulcan Red prefers moist areas such as rain gardens, bog gardens, or in woodland gardens.

  1. Tammy

Love the spikes of fiery red flowers that sit above dark leaves. Planted in full sun where it flowered all summer. Attracted Hummingbirds, Butterflies and even Dragonflies would land on it.
