The 'Leading Lady' series of Bee Balm is an earlier blooming variety starting to show color at the beginning of June here in our zone 6 Michigan garden. 'Leading Lady Razzberry' features raspberry pink blooms, one of the prettiest bee balm colors I have seen. The dark green foliage has a purple cast and compliments the raspberry-pink blooms. Standing 10-14 inches tall and neatly spreading to 28 inches wide, 'Leading Lady Razzberry' forms a tidy compact mound. Hardy in zones 4-8, Bee Balm likes to be planted in full sun to part shade locations in average to fertile soil conditions. The beautiful flowers and foliage are fragrant and make for a nice cut flower. This compact perennial makes a great container plant and looks nice as a garden border. Mix and match colors in the 'Leading Lady' series for a colorful garden.
