Pachyphytum compactum

Pachyphytum compactum

(Little Jewel) Enjoy the beautiful coloration and texture of Pachyphytum compactum. Each leaf has a unique pattern embedded in it. This is the result of younger leaves pressing on the older leaf as it emerges. The round, fleshy, tubular leaves are a bright green color and with a little stress from drought or cold, a light lavender hue appears. Pachyphytum compactum like to be grown in full sun to part shade locations and are drought tolerant. Each rosette gets 5-6 inches wide, and has short stems and is tightly branched. If using as a houseplant, you will want to place your Pachyphytum compactum in a window that receives bright light. We recommend watering when the top one inch of the soil is dry. Killing them with kindness is where some people go wrong. Succulents are easy to grow, just be careful to not overwater.
