(Zonal Geranium) A summer staple for the garden and containers are Zonal Geraniums and AMERICANA® Rose Mega Splash is no exception. Standing 12 -18 inches tall and spreading up to 22 inches wide, AMERICANA® Rose Mega Splash features deep green foliage with a faint zonal pattern on the leaves. The large semi double blooms feature deep magenta pink centers with rose pink outer edges. This beautiful bi colored geranium prefers to be planted in full sun to part shade locations with moderate to moist soil conditions. AMERICANA® Rose Mega Splash Geranium has fragrant blooms and is a nice selection for borders, in containers, or mixed hanging baskets. Deadhead your geraniums for additional blooms and a tidy look.

This is the most beautiful Geranium! Last spring I planted 12-inch planters on my second floor concrete patio, that has sun until mid-afternoon. The flowers were gorgeous! I watered them most days and always dead-headed the old blooms. My friends could not believe how I had such beautiful plants. One day, I even said to a friend as we were discussing 2020, that maybe my Geranium’s have too many flowers? I am ordering these again because I need to see the beauty and peace of this gorgeous plant. I live in zone 5b – 6a.
