Description

(Pearl Millet) Graceful Grasses® Vertigo® Pennisetum is an exotic annual grass. It is hardy to zone 8 but looks spectacular when planted as an accent or container plant in Northern gardens. The saber-shaped leaves emerge narrow, dappled green and purple. The leaves become progressively more purple and wider as they mature. VERTIGO® is a vigorous grower and usually grows to about 3 feet high, but can grow to 4 feet tall in the deep south. Its most amazing features are its deep burgundy-purple foliage and noble structural form in the landscape Graceful Grasses® Vertigo®. Pennisetum also looks great in fresh or dried flower arrangements, and truly lovely in fall decor.
