Fountain Grass ‘Desert Plains’ with its finely textured, green leaves form a beautiful upright vase-shaped clump. The tips of the foliage begin to turn deep red by mid summer and the entire plant changes from green to shades of orange and gold in time for fall. Showy, 5 inch long, bottlebrush plumes are also produced in early fall. This Ornamental Grass makes a great addition to the PROVEN WINNERS® Perennials.
