(Petunia) One word… Stunning!! SUPERTUNIA® BLACK CHERRY® Petunia has deep cherry red flowers with deep red, almost black veining! A Garden Crossings Favorite! BLACK CHERRY® is a quick growing petunia that does well in containers, landscapes or hanging baskets. BLACK CHERRY® grows 8-12 inches tall and can spread up to 18-24 inches. Planted in full sun, SUPERTUNIA® BLACK CHERRY® maintains a nice full and tight habit that displays tons of flower color in your landscape. The SUPERTUNIA® family of petunias are self cleaning, therefore you do not need to deadhead to keep them looking beautiful all summer. We do recommend fertilizing your SUPERTUNIA® every 1-2 weeks with a water soluble fertilizer. This helps keep your plants well nourished providing you with loads of colorful blooms. You may find that mid season your baskets and planters may look a bit tired. We recommend trimming your BLACK CHERRY® to approximately the bottom of your hanging basket or container. This will encourage more branching and blooms, and keep the hummingbirds and butterflies nearby.

This is such a beautiful deep color of red. It gets big quick. I planted it with supertunia Bermuda beach, which is a warm pink color and they did great together. It was a beautiful urn and they both cascaded down together. Just gorgeous! Both are easy to grow. Loves the sun! No dead heading!
